  1. If they're under cover, how would you know?  I think it is best to assume that there are security personnel aboard each flight.

  2. Let’s cut to the chase and give the no bull answer.  The correct answer is air marshals are on a lot of flights and blend in just like other passengers.  The air marshals do not post or report what flights they are on.  This is one area you can trust the federal government on to protect you.

In addition to air marshalls other such as local police, sheriffs often fly transporting person and yes they are armed as well.  Again the airlines or government do not publish which flights they are on.  Many of the pilots are armed as well and the airlines do not publish which pilots are armed.

The cockpit doors are hardened to prevent entry once it is shut.

There are no private security personnel on aircraft.  I can assure you if anyone attempted to do something the real men of America will take care of business.  Passengers do not allow stupid individuals to take over aircraft anymore.  Those days of passengers sitting back are over.

You should not be afraid to fly big brother and your fellow passengers are taking care of each other.

  3. yup

  4. Not really.  The only times I had an undercover air marshal on board was when flying into washington d.c., and even then it was rare.  When it was closer to 9/11, then almost every flight going in and out of D.C. had one, but not now.  Every once in a while, I'd have an undercover FBI agent or police officer, but they were normally there for other reasons (transporting criminals, just needed a lift, etc, but they would still help out if anything happened).

If there's another hijacking, like 9/11, we can't expect one lone air marshal to save the day.  Every passenger on the plane has got to help out.

  5. yes, you could be sitting with one

    note: don't ask

  6. They're called air marshalls....you see the one sitting next to you...yea the one that looks just like any other person... haha im jk but they could be your next seat neighbor...Please don't ask...I had a friend who tried that and I was on the same plane...just two seats away...I'm just going to say the airline didn't give him a refund! Lmao Usually they'll be the first to board the plane so they can check for bombs, weapons, etc. Don't try anything stupid...I want to be able to wear my shoes on the plane and not have to check them in...seems like thats what airport security is coming too..........Don't worry and don't be scared of flying it's fun and you get to leave this world for a couple of hours.

  7. ya they just act like other passengers

  8. Some do.  Air marshals and private security.  Both armed.  What are you worried about?  Just don't surrender the plane.

  9. yes they are called  air marshals and  you will find them commonly in US airlines. Nobody knows where they are sited  cuz they come dressed as a normal civilians.Maybe one of them is just sited next to you. They will act only in case of hijack for any other issue is cabin crew who take actions.

But since 9/11 a lot of action has been taken to make the flights safer and statistic shows great improvement.

  10. Yeah air marshalls.... You don't know if they are on or not as they are dressed in plain clothes.

    Are you planning something??

  11. They are not undercover,  they sit in a seat in plain sight like everyone else.
