Do airplanes travel higher than the highest peak of Mount Everest?

Just wondering. And exactly how far up do airplanes fly?

well all airlines travel around the same altitude but some fly different. most fly around 35,000 feet. so if thats taller then everest then yeah

Depends on what aircraft, but the bigger jets certainly fly over 30,000 feet

well, it depends on the airplane and their travel,, but mostly airplanes who have long trip has a higher distance of flight,,so i think it is higher than mount everest,,
