Do airport customs deal with copyright?

Say you take some DVD's aboard with you, containing your own personal files, plus copies of software and music downloaded off the internet (torrents)... would they check for that kind of thing? If so how could they find out? And would they even check my DVD's, fullstop??

Thx!

  1. You might be asked to turn on your computer or player or to open the packages the DVDs come in, but I don't think the TSA checks for illegal downloads and such.
