I've seen this one before. In my opinion life sure does exist out there. We sorta have proof. An asteroid came to earth carrying living matter that was quite clearly not from Earth. However, my theory on alien life remains the same, that it is more than likely plant and bird life, insects and fish, sorta like we have here, only differently "designed" or evolved to match that planets conditions.

The ones coming across our southern border do.  Those from another planet just exist in people's minds.

We have only scratched the surface in space exploration. I am with you in the train of thought that if we exist, there is potential for other life forms somewhere out there in this or other galaxies. Just don't want to the one to come face to face with an alien. I don't think I have to worry about it though :)
