If a person had made an application for a new passport eventhough the old one had pages left and was valid. When he recieves his new passport he find that there are errors on it and as he is in a foriegn country its very hard to return to that country to resolve this issue so he still travels with the old one. Do Airports have details that a new passport has been made or issued and the person is traveling on his old one that has become invalid. I understand that some airports are very limited so i mean UK, USA, Australia, France.....etc .

When applying for a visa to the UK from the middle east the old passport was shown for the application and during that time he applied for a new passport which has many errors. the visa has come through successfuly but this is with the old passport. The new passport has not been used at all even when exiting from the country it was made to go to another country, the old one was used.

  1. Confusing...

As long as the old passport has not expired, it can still be used.  Immigration officials either won't know or won't care that a new passport has been issued.

  2. if you have done al ot of traveling you have read that the visa is only valid for that passport... as number have to match.. as for a saying that you needed to get a new passport cos only one page left  the office would not have given the visa till there was enough pages... that's how it is.. sorry no entry

  3. OMG... this is very confusing....

I know for sure that USA Airports have ALL the information about ALL the passports and visas in the world.
