  1. all cats are different

  2. My cat does especially if he's stuck in a room he doesn't belong in, like the basement when I'm doing laundry.  He's a pain in the a$$ and I can't tollerate it.  He drives me nuts.

  3. no it doesnt- i hv 7 cats and only one started peeing in the sink- he had a bladder infection..and now he doesnt do that anymore..if a cat is peeing outside of the litter pan it means something is stressing them out..and most owners wont take the time to find out what is upsetting there cat they just give there cat to the annimal shelter..

  4. Relax

Cats on pee on the floor or ground or a flat surface so if ur clothes arent on the floor they will be fine and cats dont pee on couches either

    hope i helped =)

  5. Well here  my answer if your cat sees another cat or animal it will spray its tarritory so the other animal will stay away from its tarritory because they could stare through the windows see other animals and spray their tarritory

  6. But of course, It would not be a cat if it did not pee on everything.

  7. Unless they're sick or old with a bladder problem, no.  My cats are 8 and haven't had any accidents unless they the door to the room with the litterbox was closed.

If they're doing fine now, are spayed/neutered, have access to a litterbox your clean with regularity, and are healthy, there shouldn't be a problem.

  8. Mine is 17 and has problems, so yes he goes everywhere, but mainly where ever he was at the time, so if he was on the bed, then that's where he leaked. Yep, old cats can develop a leaking problem, like old people. my cats problem is due to nerve damage from a long ago injury, but most cats will use the box all of their lives. Advice, keep the clothes in a hamper or pop up hamper, not somewhere the cat can easily lay on them, and then they won't get pissed on. Our family has had several cats that lived to between 15-18 years old, and NEVER had the peeing problem until now. Then again no of the other cats ever broke their spine and hip when they were younger or had their colons reduced either, so.......

  9. not all of them for every cat should have a 2 litter box for example u should have 6 litter boxes to be very sure that your house wont smell like pee and make it always clean good luck and have fun u will love having cats

  10. Just keep the litter boxes clean and they should use only the litter boxes. If you're really worried and want to be conscientious, don't leave things on the floor, like blankets, towels, clothing, bags, ect.

  11. No!  If you have more than one cat and only one litter box they can get ticked off.  I have 3 cats and 2 large littler boxes and I have no problems... You have to keep it clean though and change the littler ever 2-3 weeks ...they like it very clean so when you change the litter you need to wash out the box too

  12. no my cat doesn't she uses the actuall toilet

  13. No, all cats do not pee on couches and clothes when they get old. If they do pee on couches, clothes, etc. when they get old, you may want to have them checked out becuase they may have UTI, or just a hard time controlling their bladder. If they do it when they are kittens, it may just be because they are not potty trained yet.

  14. not all of them do my cats don't in our new house but they did in the old one cause the laundry room smelled like dogs cause thats where my memmal used to keep her dogs when they smelled the dog smell they started peeing all over the laundry room trying to cover it up and yes if u don't keep their litter clean they'l usually pee in clothes and on the carpet if they do pee somewhere show them the spot to let them know what they did wrong they'll remember and talk to them in a stern voice and then look at them kinda mean to let them know that thats not something u want to happen again thats what i had to do with my oldest

  15. Nope, not all cats…only if they r inside/outside cats and begin to feel threatened by other invading cats due to their old age and inability to defend their territory like they once were capable of doing.

  16. well my cat is 13 years old and she had never peed anywhere but in her litter box. She has had other 'accidents' but thats when we have been out for a few hours and if shes pooped once in the box she wont use it again. But we know this and regularly check/clean her boxes so it's rare.

  17. If you change something or upset your cat then they will pee or p**p on your clothes. Not all cats do this tho.

  18. Cats normally start that behaviour as a result of a change, illness etc.  Keep the litter where it is, take your cats to the vet for check ups etc and everything should be fine.

  19. It only happens when people stop cleaning the litter boxes. With that many cats, make sure you have 1 box for each cat.

Of course, when a cat gets sick, they may urinate somewhere....but when that happens, take them to the vet.

  20. no. all cats do not go to a barmy age where they start peeing on everything. if they do something may be wrong with their bladder and you should take them to the vet.

    :)

  21. I have always had cats and have NEVER had one go anywhere except the litter box.  But I have also had them spayed or neutered at a young age and kept up with regular vet visits.  My cats have always been indoor only cats as well. Keep the liter box clean and keep the cats well cared for and you shouldn't have any problems.

  22. no keep doin exactly wat u are doin and you should be fine oh and u also might want to think about having more than one litter box because some cats are picky and won't go to the bathroom if another cat has gone in the same one

  23. no, they wont. not as long as you get them fixed. if you have a boy, the mom will breed with him.

  24. Mine have never done this.  The only time I've ever had accidents with my cats is when they've developed urinary tract infections or bladders stones.  In fact peeing in the wrong place to me is a big red flag for a trip to the vet.

And male cats don't mark inside the house if neutered early - before 6 months of age typically.

  25. Not really, if you get a male cat though w/o spading it, the cat will SPRAY and it is just as bad as peeing on everything. Be careful what you have>>>>>but you can control it. Consistency is the best way to disipline your cat to do anything you dont want them to do>>>>

    >>>Thank you for the question

  26. buy some air freshener and place it all over your house. this will help u overcome and pee odor from the cat

    if problem persist,

simply donate the cat to SPCA or PETA.

note: DO NOT COOK or EAT your cat. it is illegal.

  27. Mine doesnt.  We neudered him at a young age.  He pnly pees outside.  He occaisonally pees around our house to show that it's "his" terrortory.  And if a cat dares to come near our house my cat hisses like crazy until it leaves.

  28. That is what cats do when they dont get spayed/neutered. This is a show of dominance in males and sometimes females. I would suggest getting the cat fixed and that should help immensely with the problem.

  29. my cat doesn't pee everywhere, just outside...........

  30. not all cats. but most of them do to show a marking of their territory. try lemon juice or tin foil where they pee. they hate those things. try picking ur clothes up or closing droors try to avoid it

  31. No, and if your cat starts peeing in a place it should not, then take it to a vet and have it checked for a urinary tract infection.  Also, get your cats spayed/neutered because you will end up with more and more cats and your house will definitely smell like pee.  Just a thought. :)
