  1. We do love our curries!  It is however a stereotype to think we eat them 24/7, Indian food has alot of variety!  But curries taste great with either chapatis or rice, they are usually a one pot meal, some are fairly easy to make and a home made curry can be healthy & nutricious.

  2. stereotype. One of my friends who is indian hates curry, and he said his mom used to have to make different food for him growing up lol

  3. stereotype...kinda like mashed potatoes being north american favorite food

  4. There are different types of Curry. The Hindus eat one style, the Punjab's eat another. I am not Indian, but I think they are different in color and one is less potent than the other. Maybe an Indian person can help me out.

  5. not really a stereotype since a large portion of our dishes are curry based.

  6. ~ I do think it is a sterotype,,,,,,,,,I am Italian/German and I reallly love curry,,,,,,,,,,,,but that doesnt make me Indian

  7. Obviously that is a stereotype...that is like saying all British people only love tea and biscuits and nothing else lol. I am Indian but I love Greek/Italian/Indian/Lebanese/Thai food. So do I like only curries lol...um NO. Good question though.

  8. It is not, in the north east states of India, 7 sisters, the food is so different. As it is in north border regions from east 2 west.
