Do all UK medical schools require an interview?

I thought Southampton didn't used to but its website says otherwise.

  2. What sort of university wouldn't interview prospective medical students.

    If there is a university not interviewing medical school candidates it should be avoided. There has to be responsibility and ethics in the selection process. Universities not checking out wannabe doctors are not serving the public interest. The course is arduous and expensive.

    Why would any student not want an interview for something as important as entry to medical school. Questions need to be asked and answered. Most of us would buy a dress without trying it on but very few would buy an expensive dress and not try it on.
