  1. Na keep ur hands up  & use your foot work - jab - jab!  unless ur a pro - I herd some guys have a pice of cartillage remove - i guess giving that flat nose look.

  2. no..but pros should have broken nose even if they had to break it them selfs, because if it happened in the ring u will loose and it will be broken anyway

  3. Not EVERY boxer have messed up noses. Regardless of how little time you spend in sparring, you could POSSIBLY mess up your nose with any given punch, whether it be the first punch of your first fight or after ten fights. If you're going to spar, then your best bet would be to avoid getting hit in the face as much as possible.

  4. no not all do but a lot do. if you spar you wouldn't be sparing for 5 minutes. rounds are 3 minutes long each. even in women's boxing you would spar for 5 minutes as there rounds are two minutes each. are you even going to a boxing gym. why don't you start working with a trainer on basics first and then after 3-4 months start sparing

  5. most of them but not all

  6. wear head gear and put plenty of vaseline on your nose you should be fine

  7. Yes,  I boxed coast guard, Ymca city' etc., till I was 15 in Oakland,, Ca  and never lost a match.  Even still  my nose was broken 3 times and leans to one side like a pimp in a Rolls Royce.  Eventually, you get that stupid hump on the  bridge.  The guys with good reach will tag that proboscis every time.  Just goes with the territory.  I had a mean hook and jacked up some ears and jaws myself.

  8. No, only the ones that suck at dodging.

  9. if you are wearing headgear in your sparring sessions (and you should be) you should have no real reason to worry about your nose.
