  1. No they do not all come with a spare tire. Some new cars come with an inflation kit while others come with a donut tire.If it is a used car then you never know if it even has that unless you think to check or ask the salesman.

I have always asked the salesman if he would throw in a full size spare rim and tire on all the vehicles i have ever purchased and if they really want to sell the car then they will come up with one. This works on new auto's and i even bought a used car once where they went to the local wrecking yard and picked up a full size spare to throw in with the deal because i refused to purchase it without a full size spare at no cost.

  2. Most new cars do, but be sure to ask the dealer when you purchase the car.

When you buy a used car ask and make sure if not go down to the local tire shop and pick up a spare.

  3. No mam not every car does come with spare tiersyou would have to go out and by a dounut fot about $75-150 depending on the car!

  4. Actually, no. For example, the new 2008 Ford Focus comes with a standard tire inflation kit, and a spare tire is a $60.00 option. (I think that is ridiculous, all cars should come with a least a small spare tire, AND an infaltion kit.)

  5. Yup, they sure do either in the trunk (boot) or underneath or on the back of the vehicle.

It also depends on what sort of car it is.

  6. If its new, yes.  If its been previously used...best to check...as someone may have already used it and not replaced it!

  7. Yep, new ones do

  8. most cars that are droven by the everyday person yes but they are typically donut tires and not to be used like normal tires it is used to replace until you are able to get to a place and purchase a new one i would not recommend driving on them for more then a week as they are not the same quilty tire as your normal ones and try not to drive really fast or break really suddenly on them.

btu to answer your question most yes as a kind of curtousy for buying the car but not all it is not required

  9. All new vehicles do and most used car do as well.

  10. i would definitely believe so

  11. no a new corvette does NOT have a spare tire

  12. When new Yes.

When you buy it from a person used... Hopfully

  13. only new ones

  14. Yes

  15. no some trucks and cars you had to order a full size spare. but if you didn't it you got nothing

  16. Contrary to most of the answers here, I can think of one car that does not have a spare tire... even as an option...

The new "MINI" does not have a spare tire... it has "run flat" tires on it because of the limited space for a spare tire to be stored.

As a whole, most cars, new or used have a spare tire... or should have one.  If you are looking at a used car, check to make sure that it not only has a spare tire, but a Jack to raise the car with and a lug wrench.  These items come with almost every car ever built... there are a few exceptions though...

    I hope this helps...

  17. Yes, usually in the trunk

  18. No, not always.

New cars do, but used cars often don't, in fact used cars often have a whole load of parts missing and you don't find out til it's too bloody late!

All cars do have a space where the spare tyre is kept.
