Not SEE, but are better at seeing...by a lot. Do their eyes glow because of that? Do they HAVE to glow, or is that just in some cats? And are they born with it or do they develop it?

My cat is like 4-5 months old. Her eyes don't glow in the dark. She has like brown eyes though. Elvis [another cat. She's like a neighborhood cat. We say she, but we're not completley sure. It's a mystery.] could see in the dark...I think, and her eyes glowed too. She had greenish eyes. Like, in the dark? Idk in real life.

  1. Cats are nocturnal, which means, they hunt in the dark. So yes, all of them, besides the blind ones, can see in the dark. And their eyes don't "glow in the dark". What your are seeing is the light reflecting off their eyes. Take a picture of your kitty with the flash on and you will see what I mean.

  2. Feed her some uranium, then she'll glow all the time.
