  1. I agree.  All cells except red blood cells and platelets contain chromosomes (as best I can remember from college).

  2. I almost completely agree with the answers.

Bacterial cells contain the bacterial chromosome, yet there is no nucleus as they are prokaryotic (prokaryotes do not have membrane bound organelles - bacteria and blue green algae are examples of prokaryotes). All eukaryotes do have membrane bound organelles and the chromosomes are contained withing the nucleus.

  3. All cells with a nucleus contain chromosomes. Non-nucleated cells in human body are mature RBCs (Red Blood cells) and platelets.

All somatic (body) cells are diploid i.e. they contain 2 sets (2N) of chromosomes (23 pairs or 46 chromosomes in humans) while gametes are haploid i.e. they contain single set of chomosomes (N).

P.S- chromosomes are present only in the nucleus; mitochondrial DNA is not included as chromosome.

  4. No. Mammalian red blood cells do not have chromosomes. Bacteria have only one chromosome.
