Do all dreams mean something?

does anybody write their dreams down in a journal or something?

i started writing mine down this morning.

Not all dreams have meaning.  I've been journaling and reading dreams for over 4 years and I have found that most dreams do have meaning, but some don't.

I put them on an online journal, it is very helpful

But no, all dreams do not mean something....

BUT there is a pattern in your dreams... like per night

If you keep a long journal you will start expecting what kind of dreams you will have that night, and it will eventually lead to lucid dreaming

Dreams do have a meaning. It all comes from your subconious thoughts. So what ever happens during the day can change into a dream. Or after a scary movie a nightmare. You know what I mean.

   But writing them down is always a good thing. You might find a pattern or something. But if your creative and like to write you couldwrite a story about it. If its random and not just you walking down the street! Hope this helps.

No, even though dreams are used to help you resolve things from your awake life, tell you about feelings you are having, or generally trying to make sense of your world, people dream somewhere 90 to 100 dreams at night (that's with 8 hours sleep) Since we don't remember them all, they can't all be significant. Having paper and pen beside you bed and writing down dreams as you wake up certainly helps because we tend to forget most of our dreams within 5 minutes of waking.

But think about this. Have you ever heard the expressions "Sleep on it." Problems that seems so big when we go to sleep are often not so big or we suddenly think of a way to solve them the next morning. Could be that our dreams (our subconscious) solved them for us-we just don't realize it.
