  1. If your married with someone, you won't sleep in a single bed.Don't you think?

  2. No. Most hostels or Guesthouses do have single beds. However, both international chains (Hilton, Interconti, Steigenberger etc.) as well as higher priced hotels offer queen and king sized beds. As for European home life, it runs the gamut from single , futons, double, queen, king and water beds.

  3. I KNOW!!,

I h8 going back to the hotels in the UK too, and if you complain they look at you like ur from another planet...lmao

But in general, more of my friends and family (in the UK) have  'spare' beds that are singles, wheras here it's completely reversed (Canada).

I think it has to be tied into the cost of housing, but the tiny hotel rooms really annoy me when I'm on business there.

  4. Hotels have double, queen and king sized beds.

Although we stayed in a lot of hotals in Spain, and, although I requested Cama Matrimonio, they gave us twins, which in some cases were pushed together to make a facsimile of a king.  I was amused.  My husband loved it.  (I'm a kind of restless sleeper)
