  1. Yes , Situps and Pushups strengthen your core. This helps with posture. If you want proof look at the first half of the finishers at a 5k race, then look at the posture of the second half.Running form is important and a strong core is essential.


  2. no, i dnt know what they are suppossed to do exactly but i know they help. i think they strenghten your arms, legs and tummy muscles.
