  1. Virtually all of it. The 1990 Clean Air Act demanded a minimum amount of ethanol to increase the octane in most large cities. It changes during different periods of the year, usually 10% in the winter. Most sources agree that a normal fuel injection gasoline engine can't handle more than 10-15% ethanol without any special modifications. It'll be the same in all grades.

In the middle of nowhere, you might be getting pure gasoline, but maybe not even then. Expect the floods in the Midwest to raise corn prices, which will raise ethanol prices (because for some reason we insist on making it from corn), which will raise gas prices even more.

  2. no. and not all the gas companies put ethanol in any of their gasoline..just some companies do...

  3. If the fuel the station purchases from the refinery has ethanol in it, then yes, all grades of gas will have ethanol.

If they do not purchase fuel with ethanol, then none of the grades will have it.

Any pump that dispenses gasoline that contains ethanol, most be posted with a sticker stating that it has ethanol and how much by percentage.

    Hope this helps....
