EVERY1 TOLD ME MY SON HAD THAT WHEN HE WAS 2 BECAUSE HE NEVER EVER SAT STILL, THEY SUGGESTED THIS TO ME, HE IS NOW ALMOST 4 AN JUST AN HYPO,,, I HAVE TROUBLE KEEPIN UP WITH HIM BUT I LOVE IT, I LOVE HIM JUST THE WAY HE IS!

HE IS NOT EASILY CONTROLLED AN NO'S WHAT HE LIKES AN WANTS!

no.  thats just dumb.  all 2 year olds are hyper compared to adults.  

The over-diagnosing of our children with this and the amount of meds given is simply appalling.  Very little research on the long-term effects have been done.

no, i have a pre-k class of 3 yr olds(a few 4 yr olds)  there is not a quite day at my workplace!!! there is one child in the 2 yr. old class that does not "measure up to" the other children. he has no vocabulary, he does not play wwith others, he sits alone in the corner, when approached to play he doesn't respond, he simply goes with the flow all day long, he is the child i worry about, i pray for, the hyper children are the "norm", thats how children are, hyper. hopefully one day my little "loner" will be hyper as well,.

no non sense they are a typical 2 yr old and very active full of energy and they need to burn this energy put them in some type of program ,take them outside and let them run around and play with their friends keep them occupied  i know it's hard to do but you need to try all sorts of things

The 2 year olds that get diagnosed with this disorder probably live in the city and suburbs.  

I bet NO children who live on farms and help out with the animals and crops and throw stones in the near by stream and run around after the chickens  and cattle dogs ever get diagnosed with this disorder.

You can't diagnose anyone under 5 with ADHD because the behaviors of being ADHD are the same behaviors of being under 5.

No, way too many children are being diagnosed with adhd and put on medication that they dont need to be on. Children have energy thats just a fact... some have more than others, just like adults some people are more active than others.

It's called being 2. They are just discovering their world and being busy is the best way to do that. I would be worried if they were not into everything.

2 year olds are full of energy and life and they need to be given plenty of opportunity to use that energy up. This aids in their gross motor skills. If you live in a plugged in world, get them out of the house and into nature, Discover the outside together. This in turn will make for good conversations (verbal communication) and can even be extended into arts/crafts (drawing-fine motor skills). Don't let anyone tell you that your 2yr olds are anything other than that--2!
