  1. it depends on the number of years og qualifying contributions.


  2. It depends on the amount you have paid through National Insurance contibutions. You need to have paid 40 years at the basic rate to get a basic state pension which is currently 90.70 per week. If you have paid more or less than this your pension will be adjusted accordingly

  3. if you have paid your national insurance fully then all 65 yr olds get the same pension

  4. The pension is made up of 3 components - Basic, Additional and Graduated.

    A male currently needs 44 years of contributions.credits to get a full basic state pension. Anything less and you get a % of the full (note that anything less than 25% and you don't get it paid under most circumstances )

    The additional pension is based on yearly earnings and whether you have paid in to company pension schemes.

    Graduated Pension was a scheme ran for a few yrs in late 60's /early 70's and can be worth a few pounds per week to those who have any.
