  1. No.  Very few have both a medical degree (MD or DO) and a PhD.


  2. No, most doctors are called "doctors" because of their medical degree: M.D. (Doctor of Medicine).  

    Depending on where you live, most doctors either graduate from medical school without ANY other university degrees, or they may have an undergraduate degree (like BSc).

    Relatively few have a Masters degree, and even fewer (<5%) have a PhD.  Those who have both a MD and a PhD tend to be involved in research, with little if any time spent seeing patients.

  4. It is not true that you cannot be both a PhD and an MD, as stated earlier it is just not common
