Question:

Do all muscovy ducks get red faces?

When the muscovy ducks are little they don't have any red and as they grow just a tad bit they still dont have any red.And i really want a muscovy duck but the whole red face can be a tad bit scary to small children (i dont have any but still) .Do all muscovy ducks get red faces?

  1. The red facial skin is technically found on Muscovy ducks of both genders, not just the males. However, the male Muscovys have a much redder face. In the females, the redness is minimized:

    Also, Muscovy chicks and juveniles don't have this feature:
