Do all papillons ears come up or is is normal for them to sometimes stay droopy..i quite like his droopy ears?

There are two versions of the papillon- the phalene and the papillon.  Phalenes have drop ears, paps have erect ears.  Both are correct.  Most dogs will have erect ears as they are much more popular.

All Papillon puppies are born with droopy ears. Most will eventually have the erect ears but sometimes one won't. I've seen pure-bred Pappies with droopy ears before. They're called Phalene Papillon or Moth dog instead of Butterfly. Chances are they will go up but maybe not.
