  1. A little - to counteract the vinegar.  Not enough to fuss about though


  2. If you buy them, they do.  I make my own by adding vinegar, splenda and a tiny pinch of allspice.

  3. Yes---lots.

  4. YES!.......Beets themselves are rich in sugars this is why they make "beet sugar extracts" because of beets high sugar content.
