  1. Yes, all repltiles have their eyes. Ofcourse on the side of their head. I haven't seen any one of them with eyes on the sides of their tail.

  2. well i m not too sure but i think yhe answer is yes

here r a few other characteristics of reptiles

Reptiles have tough, dry, scaly skin offering protection against desiccation and physical injury

The shelled (amniotic) egg of reptiles contains food and protective membranes for supporting embryonic development on land. Reptiles lay their eggs in sheltered locations on land. The young hatch as lung- breathing juveniles rather than as aquatic larvae. The appearance of the 34- shelled egg (Figure 3b) widened the division between the evolving amphibians and reptiles

Reptilian jaws are efficient for crushing or gripping prey

Reptiles have some form of copulatory organ, permitting internal fertilization

Reptiles have a more efficient circulatory system and higher blood pressure than amphibians

Reptilian lungs are better developed than those of amphibians

    Reptiles have efficient water conservation

All reptiles, except the limbless members, have better body support than the amphibians and more efficiently designed limbs for travel on land

The reptilian nervous system is considerably more complex than the amphibian system

  3. You may want to distinguish between lateral facing eyes (which have monocular vision - each eye sees something different) and forward facing eyes (field of vision in eyes overlaps to give binocular vision). Reptiles with forward facing eyes may have eyes positioned more laterally than other creatures with binocular vision (such as owls, primates) but they still face forward.

Examples of reptiles with binocular vision (and forward facing eyes) include the snapping turtle, vine snakes, rattlesnakes, cobras and most predatory or hunting snakes. Also prehistoric reptiles such as pterosaurs, tyrannosaur and velociraptor.

1 - "A reptile’s vision depends on the position of its eyes. A reptile with monocular vision has eyes on either side of the head. The area that one eye can see does not overlap the area the other eye can see. Land Tortoises, Crocodiles, and many lizards have monocular vision.

A reptile with binocular vision has both eyes facing forward. The area that each eye can see overlaps. Reptiles with binocular vision, like the snapping turtle, focus both eyes on their prey and can accurately judge its distance."

2 - Reptiles rely on their keen senses to find food and evade predators. Among species that hunt for food, the eyes are often located at the front of the head to provide binocular vision, the ability to see objects from slightly different angles to create a sense of depth.
