  1. no some flow to the sea.

  2. Yes, eventually.

  3. Unless they hit a lake.

  4. Yes.  Pretty much they all do at some point.

  5. Not all do. As mentioned, the Great Salt Lake. There are land locked lakes and seas in Africa and Asia that also fit this. Lake Chad, Aral Sea, Dead Sea, Caspian Sea just to name a few

  6. With rivers the rule of thumb is they go down hill by the path of least resistance. If the lowest point along the path is an ocean, then it will go there, otherwise the water flow will stall or stop once it reaches a basin point, that would be pond, lake, sea, or marsh, or swamp or such other environement. One other note, many rivers can be associated with some kind of fault line.

  7. if they did not we would have some drowned countries around .all river end up     even tually into to the Oceans and  seas,

and in reality there is only one world Ocean ,it is mans invention that there are different ones

but there are many water flows that in times of rains ends up in lakes and inland   seas

  8. To be accurate, no, not all. Many rivers merge with other named rivers and cease to exist.

So as the question was phrased, this would be an accurate answer.

Another answer would be no, many rivers dry up before reaching the seas due to the water usage pressure put on them by mankind. The Rio Grande river separating Texas from Mexico some times does not reach the Gulf of Mexico.

Many rivers that flow from the US into Mexico dry up before reaching the sea due to the US damning the rivers and using most of the water in the reservoir.

There is a real fight coming for water usage rights.

  9. Most rivers flow to the sea, but not all.  Two examples of rivers which do not flow to the sea are listed below:

    1) Utah's salt lake

The watershed for this lake ends with the lake.

    2) There are also some watersheds in northern Mexico that do not connect to the ocean, but are landlocked and end in lakes.
