Do all sausages and hotdogs come in the same type of casing?

My friend won't eat beef or pork and kinda freaked out when I told her that the chicken hotdog that she bought comes in the same casing as all other sausages and hotdogs.

its just when they put it in the oven its that way. And ur right chicken, beef, and pork hotdogs are made at the same place, with the same casing. 99.9% the meat is all made with everything. some sausages come in their natural casing (the intestine) others come in artificial casings.

No, some are  artificial and some are natural. Natural casing are intestine, and left on the sausages/hot dogs. Artificial casings are plastic, and are taken off (obviously).
