Do all sharp aquos 42 inch tv's have banding issues?

Sharp has had banding problems on all their LCD TVs for some time.  A quick look at the AVS forum on Sharp's banding problem

indicates that the issue is still not resolved.

In other respects, the Sharp Aquos give an excellent picture, but you should make sure you can return the set if you can see banding.  (It may take some effort, but it will be worthwhile to review the thread.  There will be suggestions on how to view banding.)
