I know Tennessee has them because I have one. I have always assumed that each state has their own lifetime sportsman license, but I would just like to know for sure. Also, if you happen to know the price for your state, I would like to know. Just curious Thanks.

Also does the price go up with age? In TN it is $200 for age 2 and under, I think $540 for ages 3-6, and so on until age 13 when it is about $1600 until the age of 50 or 60 when it starts to go back down.

  1. Indiana used to but doesn't anymore.............they had a bunch of people buy them and they saw how much money they are going to lose and stopped offering them.......pretty crappy thing for the state to do............I missed out.........didn't get one while I had the chance

  2. Don't know about all States but Texas does.  $1,000 for hunting only & $1,600 for combo hunting/fishing.  Then you buy whatever other stamps (like for water fowl) that may also be required seperately.

Opps!  My dollar amounts are incorrect.  KS, poster above is right:  $600 either or, $1,000 for combo.  This is for resident hunters only.  The little lady at Wal-Mart mis-informed me last year when I inquired about a life-time hunting/fishing combo license.  When I read the official Texas Outdoor Manual I realized the KS was correct.  Sorry!

  3. Texas does, $1000 for lifetime hunting and fishing combo or $600 for either one. We pay 47 for a regular combo, hunt/fresh water, 52 for hunt/salt or 57 for hunt/all water. Have a super combo that includes everything and all stamps (archery, fresh, salt, migratory bird and upland)
