Do all states need a test to graduate?

do all states require to pass a test in order to graduate..like for example texas has to pass all four areas of the TAKS test.. which states dont need a test to graduate

  1. California recently implemented their own "High School Exit Exam (HSEE)" which is now a requirement for all students to pass before they graduate high school.  I don't know about other states, though.

  4. No such test here in Illinois.  There are some required courses you have to pass (U.S. Government, which you have to pass the Constitution test in order to receive a passing grade, for example), but there's not test you have to pass specifically to graduate.

  5. you have to in Ohio and Michigan. Ohio is OGTS, you take them when ur in 10th

  6. In the state of Washington, there is a standardized test called the WASL (Washington Assessment of Student Learning) in which you have to pass the reading and writing portions to graduate from any Washington state high school. It is normally taken in your sophomore year in high school.
