Do all the democrats attacking Bristol realize they are attacking Obama?

Per his statement yesterday, 47 years ago, his mother was in the exact same position as Bristol.

When you call Bristol's unborn child a b*****d, you are calling Obama a b*****d.

When you belittle Bristol for choosing to keep the child and marry the father, you are belittling Ann Dunham for keeping her child and marrying the father (though they did divorce later).

That's why I believe Barack was sincere in his statement yesterday when he said to leave Bristol alone and said he would fire anyone in his campaign that he caught spreading these malicious things about her. I am not normally inclined to believe him without research, but in this case, this is a very personal issue to him because it reflects his own history.

I'm not a fan of Obama but I respect his request to not criticize Bristol.

I also think he knows it WILL backfire on him if that criticism keeps coming.

To the poster who said Obama wasn't in that same situation - read the news!  Obama reminded everyone that he was born to an 18 year old and was illegitimate at conception - that's why he's so forgiving of the situation.

The repubs and dems on this site could care less if it hurts their candidate. They're to busy whining and complaining, calling the other side losers and idiots. Most of these people have no idea what they're talking about. They like to ask stupid questions, call dems unpatriotic and repubs greedy war mongers and so on.
