Do all the itouch's not come with the update?

if i bought an iTouch now from john lewis (lets say) would it have the update on it or would i have to download it?

All iPod touches come with firmwares 1.1.3, 1.1.4, or 1.1.5. You will have to purchase the 2.0 upgrade though iTunes.

it depends if the person u bought it from put an update on it. im pretty sure the brand new ones are fully updated. if not just plug it in. itunes will then let u know if u need and update. just click download and let itunes take care of the rest.

You would have to buy it so that you could use it with your account. I'm assuming you mean the iPhone Software 2.0 upgrade that makes it so you can load apps onto it.
