tbh i dont know what VGA cards do (something to do with videos....?)

some usb sticks i found require VGA cards, such as: this usb stick on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DVB-T-Freeview-Digital-TV-HDTV-USB-Stick-VISTA-DVB-XR_W0QQitemZ190248391746QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190248391746&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

if you scroll down, under system reuquirements it states:

"Display Card - VGA card/chipset with DirectX 8.0 support "

  1. Can you show us an example? I'm not aware of any USB TV tuners that have video output requirements. The software it comes with may have specific video requirements, but that's a completely separate issue.

Why is this even an issue? Are you trying to run a headless media server or something?
