Question:

Do all vegetarian foods/drinks state that they are vegetarian on the packet/bottle?

I'm in the UK, and vegetarian products seem to state on the back, 'suitable for vegetarians' - just wondering whether this means that a product without this label is definitely not vegetarian?

i.e. is it standard policy to label all vegetarian products as such, or up to the brand/company?

Thanks.

  1. No...it's entirely up to the company. It's your responsibility to read the ingredients.
