I've been living in the good old days all my life,the 50,s were in the 60,s the 60,s were in the 70,s the 70,s were in the 80,s the 80,s in the 90,s the 90s in the present , etc, It's all subjective and the older you get the more good old days there were.I don't live in the past but I do have some very good memories

Memory is a fickle lass, she re-enacts the good times and brightens up the bad ones. You can always rely on her cheering you up. In absolute terms, though, Vince might quite well be right on both counts. We’ve never had it so good, not even the Government has been able to ruin the gravy, but we don’t realise it. We grouse and moan and worry about our  jobs, without thinking about the  lads of the near bankrupt 3rd World, that are creeping up on us and sneaking into our midst, with the sole intent of sharing our pie. Look at the mess Africa made of it’s independence and the raping of South America by it’s own lot, for a handful of weeds and the poisoning of the Far Eastern countryside to winkle out a bit of gold or a few more trees. These might well be the last “Good Old days” if we don’t pull our collective thumbs out. Good question Vince, make ‘em think.
