Do alpine, rockford fosgate, or kicker make the best subs and which company makes the best amp?

I am thinking about getting some subs and an amp for my car but i am not sure which brand will give me the best quality and best price and best sound. I was wondering if someone had any idea who makes better subs for rap music between Rockford fosgate, alpine, and kicker and which brand makes the best amps.

I have always been a big fan of Kicker. I have two 10 inch kicker comps in my 3000gt and they sound great. I don't know about their amps though because I have never owned one. I have a profile HA1000 pushing my kicker's and it sounds great. I have had this setup in two different vehicles and it sounded great in both.

Rockford Fosgate has the best amp in quality hands down, but the best amp for your money and quality is kicker.  They are right under rockford fosgate and they are under rated... 1 of their amps that they rate as 750 rms is actually a little over 900 rms..  I would choose KICKER! best for the buck unless you have money to spend then go with the best rockford.

rockford fosgate defently makes the best amp, one of theri amp is 15,000 Watt and 4 channel, this guy on youtube has two of these in his esclade, look him up Meade916 he also has 8, 18" FI BTL in his truck pushing out 2,000 watts each

I own a fosgate amp and I love it.

I know MANY guys with Alpine amps and they love them too.

Kicker makes loudddd loudd woofers and I don't know much about their amps but they ARE cea compliant like the other two brands here so thats VERY good to have.

For the subs, Kicker will be the loudest but won't sound the best. Alpine makes a killer sub called the Type-R that comes in 10" 12" and 15". They are a fairly good price and sound nice and hit hard with RMS rated power given to them.

Also RF P3's are sick woofers. They hit and sound clean.

The Kicker L7 is my favorite though. The square woofer than comes in 10 12 and 15's.

750rms for the 10 and 12 and 1000rms for the 15.

They are very very loud and slam very hard but do not but out the "best" sound quality but still, not terrible Sq.

lol...not the best brands by far for subs or amps...

any sub plays music of any kind, it is the enclosure that determines the frequency that is desired for a certain type of music.
