I would have to say that most Americans are under obligation to love their country in order to be labled an "American."  Myself, I refuse to love my country until it comes to it's senses.  Regime change 2008!  But politics aside, Americans have this sickening habit of "My Country, Right or Wrong."  So I would have to say that the majority of Americans love their country even when ashamed of its policies.

Do not mis understand. i am a student of man. and history ."world " history looking at it all from every view point. and for you to say that Americans don't care is  far from the truth . they may be asleep but they do care. Its YOUR government that doesn't care and focuses mainly on itself as a separate entity, using people like you and me  as stepping stones. And again for you to say we don't care is to say that you don't care and you do. you like most are just lost a little but feeling your hands are tied. You are free, for now. You and I and others together can take back our  country our government. It has been done in the past and can be done again. The question is what are you willing to give up in order to right this wrong?

of course Americans love their country.  they are not happy with their government and it's too big / we have lost control of it.  they are corrupt and have lost sight of who they report to.

I don,t think so because it's like they get up everyday not knowing that, something so immoral to the human race, that,s what is, and not to be. And I guess that,s one of the reasons why that could be something that is true. Cause I know they don,t love me , I'm black.
