  1. I presume you are talking about Iraq?  Its an unjust war, that should never have been entered into.

  2. I can't imagine why anyone would *not* want the war to end, but I suppose greed may play a part. Aside from that, it's not so easy to just pull the troops out en masse. I wish we had never gotten mixed up in this mess in the first place, but since we have, there has to be some goal reached before we leave. Is there going to be peace and harmony in Iraq, or even the Middle East? I'll believe it when I see it. These hostilities have been going on for centuries, and I believe they will continue until the end of time. The culture and society are totally different from the Western way of thinking. To try to impose our values and democratic government structure on them from the outside is going to be a tough sell, and that's a massive understatement. There are too many people in power positions as well as a smaller but fanatically determined group of terrorists who don't want to see our way of life invade theirs. So what end do I want to see? Hopefully, a country with a smaller threat of civil war, a government that stands a chance of governing, and a police force that stands a chance of keeping law and order. Otherwise, all the men and women that have given up their families, their careers, and the ultimate sacrifice of their lives will have done so for nothing. Or worse, only for the oil and profits. That would be horrible, deplorable, and a waste.

  3. Yes they do but Greed has to end first. There were Americans that did profit of it like Halliburton these do not want it to end. It's the ol imperialist we cannot trust them to govern themelves excuse at work in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why cost in lives ,anguish, and taxes. Billions for war but cuts for money for Child Health care. Mercenaries like the wars have heard.

  4. There is no war.

  5. GRAND AIR MARSHALL HILLARY RODHAM Clinton, VOTED FOR THE WARE AND DEMANDS THIS BLOODY WAR CONTINUES-DON'T QUESTION THE GRAND AIR MARSHALL

  6. Everybody wants it to end, but I wan't to win first.

  7. Most americans want the war to end because we feel like its a no win situation to many of our young men are dying .But ..if we set back and let people take advantage of our country and destroy us within and kill many innocent people we feel that we had to do something. Bring our troops home Let Bush fight the war it was his mess any way he just wanted to get even because of his Dad.

  8. yes every 1 wants it too end but the only way that will happen is when a fair democratic system is put in place and protected otherwise if the troops pulled before this happens it will led to civil war which would make the middleeast more unstable then it allready is . which among other things would led too a much more unstable economic situation for the rest of the world not too mention more suffering for iraq

  9. The late-November polling data puts it at 55% to 56% of the American public want the Iraq War to end right away, another roughly 40% want to stay until the Iraqis stop fighting each other, and the remainder are undecided. There are at most maybe 10 people in the whole country who want the US to stay in Iraq indefinitely, and all but maybe 2 or 3 of them work for George Bush on the White House staff.

  10. Yes, I do. I see American troops and other troops from other countries being killed. I thought that  I would never see what my parents saw in the 70s another Vietnam. Even if the War in Iraq was won, we are still losers because of all the lives that were lost. Children without mother and/or fathers and Parents without sons and/or daughters.

  11. Americans want the war to end, their government (oil tycoons and corporate America) on the other hand is having the time of their lives with this war. I think we should end the war and impeach all who knowingly gave us false information for us to go to war and profited greatly from it.

  12. most do. most believe the situation was handled badly.

  13. obviously if we elected a democratic majority congress it means the majority wants the war to end because they know it should've never started...but the congress has failed to represent our desires once again. There is no definition of victory..so how can anyone win? If americans have to surrender their liberties for the sake of security, the terrorists (at home and abroad) have already won.

  14. It doesn't matter. It's not a fad, it doesn't go away when people stop liking it. You either win or you lose.

  15. We want to WIN the war and eradicate the Islam Terrorist who perpetrated this horror on us, before it is ended.

  16. Of course we do, we just want it to end with the US and Iraq both being the winner, which is very doable.

  17. The ordinary Americans on the street would love wars to end - like the rest of the world would but war is big business in the first world.  the end of war would create mass unemployment and lead to a massive loss of revenue to those countries selling armaments.

Its the same as expecting Bush the oil man to want an end to pumping up oil.
