I have 2 angelfish only 3 cm big and 5 guppies, ii found one of the guppies floating at the top with no eyes and no tail, one of the other guppies tail looks like its been attacked and is missing half its lip,

Could it be the angelfish attacking them or a illness?

please help

  1. yup

  2. I learnt it the hard way that Angel fish are agressive. I have had 2 angel fish for several months and they ahve grown big along with rest of the fish..
Yesterday I added a samll zebra tetra pair - within the first minute one of the Angel fished chased and bit the tail of one of the poor Tetras.. felt bad  but salvaged the other Tetra and speperated it out...

I feel I have to let go of the Angels as they are making sudden moves on couple of other smaller fish. This aggressive behavior is very recent and its pretty consistent now.
