  1. Sure, our dog moves his legs like he's running, and yips in his sleep...

  2. i know my dog does. he "talks" in his sleep.

  3. Sounds like you have never had a dog !  I think they have more fun when they are asleep, they bark yelp and run, eyeballs roll. it's interesting to watch on a dull night :)

  4. I'd imagine they do. They sleep and have a brain, so I guess it's possible.

Interesting question by the way...I never actually thought about it.

  5. yes... animals are alive.

  6. Yes, in fact. Many animals dream, just excluding most forms of invertebrates, including arthropods. Pretty much anything that has emotions has the possibility of dreaming in their sleep. Although, most invertebrates may not have signs of  emotion, there are some that do.

The octopus and squid are actually very intelligent animals, especially for how low on the evolutionary level they are at in the animal kingdom.

    Check it out- http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/videos/Octo...

It's in Spanish, but it's pretty interesting. Octopi are much smarter than  they appear.

This is also  a pretty interesting artical to read on octopi. http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/animal...

But otherwise, all other VERTEBRATES will dream. Even fish.

So again all vertebrates, and some invertebrates have the ability to dream while they sleep. Or maybe not  asleep, but they will daydream, and have pictures in their head just like  a dream while asleep.
