Do animals get high?

Question

I remember reading in a book at school, deer eat psychedelic mushrooms, all kind of animals eat fermented alcohol in fruit. And birds eat marijuana seeds, squirrels eat nutmeg.

I was wondering how true this is and do they use drugs for same reason as us? haha really good book.

Yea they can get high..my cat got high all the time and he always went crazy running in circles chasing his tail and climbing up walls...we name em stoner lol

Yeah they do, my cat gets high off catnip and runs around everywhere like a psycho.
