  3. yes they can they have feelings when you see an abused animal on animal planet you can see the sad ones and their eyes are so sad and when theya re happy and fed they have such twinkles in the eyes.

  7. Definitely. I've read in places that I can't remember that certain ones don't feel certain emotions or pain, but I don't really believe that.

    According to news stories advertised on Yahoo, elephants hold grudges. And if those angry cat videos on Youtube are valid, that's another animal that has feelings.

  8. Definitely. I don't know if you remember that gorilla years ago, named Coco. He had a pet kitten. And one day the kitten died. And Coco new sign language. And without telling Coco what had happened, he knew to sign "Sad". or something like that. You can probably even find the story online somewhere. But I remember reading that the scientist knew for a fact that this gorilla understood the emotion because it wasn't told how to respond to this event.
