  1. some animals do sweat because they have the pores to do so such as cattle and horses.

after a long ride you take off a saddel and there will be sweat.

dogs & cats for instance cannot sweat so they pant to relieve themselves of heat. some animals have different ways to relieve the build up as there bodies take care of it in different ways.

ive always found it interesting that a polar bears skin is black to keep them warm and the fur is white to let them blend and when they still get to cold they will hide out under the snow using the packing to get away from the worst of the cold.

like i said different ways to deal with temperature changes.

  2. ive heard that cattle sweat.

  3. No, only humans sweat

  4. Horses not only sweat all over,  they also lather up. In addition to sweating when hot,  they also sweat when they get nervous.

  5. For dogs, they do not sweat. They pant. When their tongue hangs out of their mouth and they are panting, they are simply releasing excess body heat. As the saliva evaporates from their mouth, their tonue cools off and subsequently their whole body temp cools off.

Can't speak with confidence for other animals. Maybe if you specified which animals in particular people may be able to help?

I suspect that animals in general do not swaet.
