Do anti-feminist women deny the work that has been done by feminists for their rights?

I'm certain that some do.

No. I think and feel that they are ingnoring all the work that has been

done. I believe that the anti-feminists are obliviuos to the accomplish-

ments that the feminists have accomplished as far as womens rights

are concerned. Yet, they are standing on the very solid ground that

Susan B Anthony and other women of her stature and cause, helped

to establish in this country. Do they deny the previous work that has

been done on behalf of women's rights? No. They just need to be re-

ferred to the history of women's rights and need to educate them-

selfs as to how they got their political rights. They need to be re-

minded of that history by someone. Could that someone be you?

I'm very grateful to the original feminist movement which helped to provide equal opportunity for me, allowed me to vote and have an education, and have a say in the way I want to live my life.

But modern feminism (feminism within my lifetime) has done absolutely nothing but look down on me for the way I was born, and for the lifestyle I've freely chosen. Modern feminism is fighting for it's own agenda, not for women.

Some do; they seem to think that the feminist movement had no reasonable purpose at any point in time. Others acknowledge the good it has done, but no more.

What feminists?  The feminist movement seems to have fizzled out since the 70's.  I don't see or hear about any feminists any more ... and judging by the garbage I see on TV, it looks like whatever strides they made have been lost.  When I see the popularity of dolls like Bratz and the thong underwear with sayings printed on them like "Eye Candy" marketed to little girls (and I am raising daughters so I am well aware of these things), I know we are sliding back.  Strippers and prostitutes are admired by many young girls and even my local gym (a national chain mind you) has a pole dancing class that seems to be quite popular.

I think most anti-feminists (at least on here) are male or claim to rather have things as they were prior to feminism.

No there's nothing to deny.  Women before you feminist ever came along were making paths; they're the ones I admire; not you and your kind. Now, if you will recall it was men who gave you the rights that you now have. After all; they could have just left you all crying at the doorstep.  Face it we will always be indebted to men; however, how we view that will either be our gain, or our loss.

I would never deny the work of feminists who achieved  equality for women, but they lost me when women started gaining at the expense of men. I will never be a part of any movement that is oppressive......and  that's why I don't support modern feminism as it is practiced in the Western world.
