Do ants release their p**p when they die?

Question

My friend was eating a small can of pineapple when she discovered to her horror an ant floating in the juice! She was wondering if she had eaten any ant p**p that the ant might have released when it died in her can.

I have no idea.  But how do you know the ant didn't relieve itself on a pineapple before it died?
