Do any Michigan fans like Rich Rod.?

I'm a Michigan fan. And I kinda expected either a loss or a very close game. Thats what i got. I dont blame Rich. His system hasn't kicked in yet hopefully because there is alot of talent at Michigan. But I don't think the University should have hired a spread offense coach.

I do however expect a win next week. If not then Rich's butt is definently on the line.

  1. I'm not a Michigan fan, being from Utah, but I do like Rodriguez. I think within the next year or 2 Michigan should be as successful or more than his teams were at West Virginia, it's just going to take a while to develop the program to that point. Michigan is young but talented and will work their way into the spread offense very smoothly and Michigan should be very pleased with him in the end.

  2. Michigan sucks.

  3. As of this moment right now, no.  But in three or four years if he can get in his players and a good recruiting class and win a championship, they will worship him in Ann Arbor.

  4. I know a lot of RR fans that didn't like RR, even before he left WVU. Boren, whose father played at michigan, left Michigan to transfer to OSU, because of "a loss of family values". I think that is all you need to know about RR. I am a buckeye fan, and I am estatic you hired that guy. That means Tressel's streak will continue.

  5. it is going to be a rough year, i heard from an inside source that attends u of m practices that the players ultimately hate rich rod. of course these are the players that carr recruited. if too many players can not stand rich rod i find it hard for a good season. so wait a couple of years when he has all his recruits playing for him, then we can talk

  6. no his job isnt on the line

    1. it is his 1st year and Mich. is paying him 2 much money to let him go that quickly

    2. every quarterback that played saturday was a freshman

    3. give it time rich will be our savior

  7. Im a West Virginia fan and Im still a huge RRod fan. This man will look at the game tapes and figure out where all the mistakes occured and I know RRod, I feel for those kids Monday practice, he's a coach that will push his players. He's very good at player development so it'll take him some time. He can turn a 3 star prospect to a 4 star , a 4 star to a 5 star. Right now those athlete's arent use to playing in that system, therefore its hinders their attheletic capabilities, but as soon as they play more , and get a little more comfortable those athletes will loosen up and thier athleteic abilities start showing up. At West Virginia, we was going through those growing pains, then one night against Rutgers

we blew up for 88 points in a game.

So just give him some time, and allow those athletes get comfortable

they'll start porinig it on. RRod true big achilles heel is his qb play, um

if that qb doesnt pull that ball at the right time or makes the wrong reads and give the ball prematurely to the tailback, that tailback gets killed, saw that a few times, but first game, a walk on qb, and a freshan,

RRod simply has a tall order. Um Don Nehlen left RRod a bunch of talent, in fact favored to win the Big East, this is still when the big three

was still in the big east. Lost the entire offensive linemen, a couple bolted to Ohio State, bunch of players bolted to Maryland, needless to say the kind of two or three yrs Maryland had, thanks to WVU. 10-2.

10-2, 10-2. Now where are they. RRod started getting the players, most players who use to go to Maryland bolts to WV now.   It sucks when it not running right, but its fun to watch when it is. Young lady you can take a lower tier college football program, have the right athletes in that spread, they can beat anybody .  Now imagine a program that is an upper tier program with 4 and 5 star athletes running it. Michigan future is bright, be patient.

    Good luck to you.

Maybe in a few years it'll be Michigan-WVU for the national championship game.

  8. Mark this one in stone.....UM will probably lose a few more games, but they WILL beat OSU this year. It may take some time for the team to really get used to the spread, plus some more really fast recruits, but eventually UM will rule the Big 11. By the way, I am not a UM fan....GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

  9. michigan sux so much it doesnt matter
