Do any Pontiac Grand Prix's have a factory installed IPOD connection?

  1. Most newer model GM vehicles have an "AUX" connection where you could plug your IPOD in and play it through the car's speakers.  You won't be able to control the IPOD through the car's radio, though, but it will at least let you play it.  All you need is the right wired jack to connect it.


  2. No.  I have not seen any during the Grand Prix-making period.  G6's have them.

    And as an Electronics Engineer along with 20 or more other medical/electronic/diagnostic instrument jobs, I have never made alterations to this unit.

    But, if you go to an aftermarket shop where trunk mounted or underseat CD changers are installed, they should be able to adapt a connector into the wiring harness in place of the CD box, drill a small hole in the bottom of the dash or driver's side of console, and put in a jack for the MP3.
