Question:

Do any Widescreen TV's allow split-screen with different inputs?

Hi,

I was wondering whether there are any Widescreen LCD's (or plasma's) that let you split the screen side-by-side but use two different inputs for each left/right part, and if so what's it called. And I don't mean a 2 tuner Picture in Picture.

I'm asking because I wanted to buy another Xbox 360 and play co-op for online co-op only games, but use the same TV.

Thanks in advance!

  1. sony tvs let you do that (if they have split screen) I have one and it works perfecly.

  2. No, non of the tv's currently on the market will split the screen using two different sources. Something i doubt will ever be implemented either.

  3. I have an Olivia 32" LCD wide screen that allows me to do that. I actually never thought of doing that for gaming until I read this question. But I've ran my cable box which runs on HD Component 1 and played XBox 360 which runs on HD Component 2.

I don't know the model number off hand but I did get it for a good price. You might want to check them out.

    So, yes they do exist.
