Question:

Do any banks offer both ATM reimbursement AND a program similar to Wachovia's "Way2Save" program

I'm wanting to switch over from my current bank.

USAA (which I am eligible to use) and Wachovia look the most enticing.

I like USAA because I can use any company's ATM and pay no service charge. However, with Wachovia I can sign up for their Way2Save program and have them deposit $1/debit transaction into a savings account. Is there a bank that has both of these features? If so what one(s). Any help would be great!!!

  1. Just to let you know about atm charges, the time you use other banks' atm, the provider may assess you the fee for their service ($1-$3). now, your local bank can also assess a fee at the end of your statement cycle, but there are kinds of account that this fee (at the end of the month) can be waived. you can try washington mutual's free checking account, atm fees are waived when you used other providers, no charge for outgoing wire transfers, free checks, and one overdraft charge waiver per year.
