  1. No they would never get away with that.

  2. No.... Commission members must approve a fighters gloves and hand wraps these days.

There have been cases in the past of fighters removing some of the padding from their gloves.

Some have put plaster into their hand wraps.

Many have accused Trindad of illegally wrapping his hands, by alternating thin layers of tape & gauze instead of 1 thick layer of each......

But no, boxers cant wear brass knucks under their gloves.

  3. No, but there is a case in court now. a boxer fought 25 years ago, beat this guy up bad.  the guy died 6 months later. He is coming clean saying that he cut out 2 inches of padding from his gloves, and also soaked his tape for his hands in plaster of Paris prior to the fight!

Imagine getting hit with a cast.

  4. totally agree with armitage... lol

  5. I can for sure tell you Floyd Mayweather Jr does it. I do not think Mayweather could have beaten the Big Show had he not used them.

  6. no, brass knuckles are illegal. If a boxer were to put brass nuckles in their gloves not only would they be disqualified they'd be arrested

  7. When your in your rooms getting yours hands taped, a member from the opposition corner will be their watching you get straped. They will then sign the tape. Your gloves will then be put on and taped at the velcro so they cannot be removed. The oppistion bloke will sign on the tape their too. The referee squeezes your gloves before a fight to check for anything. Itd be hard to imagine someone getting away with it.
