Cadillacman, that's not entirely true.

I' not sure which airline, but certain airlines do fly the "over the pole" flights.

They don't go directly over the pole, but it does come pretty close.

I remember seeing a picture of someone taking a picture out of the airplane window of the northpole because the plane flew over it, I believe it was Continental Airlines.

Above as in, "in the air" above? Yes, may flights will travel above the northpole when they fly around the world.

Above as in land above the north pole...Some cites.
