Do any companies make crib accessories? ?

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone makes accessories for a crib. Like a removable changing table, and bassinet. (Like they have on Play yards, but for cribs instead) I don't have enough space for a crib, and changing table and bassinet. I was hoping to get a crib and get things to add onto it. If they exist, where could I find this?

  1. you can just buy a contoured changing pad for about $20, sold at wal-mart, target, babies r us, toys r us, ect...  put it on top of the baby's dresser... so you don't need a changing table...  they are a waste of money...  or  just change him in his crib like I did... I got a bunch of good thick pads to put under him, and I also have a sheet saver that ties with strings to the crib...  I use both depending on what's clean... his gram ma just changes him on the couch by putting a pad or receiving blanket under his tushie...  you can skip the bassinet if you want... cuz they outgrow them after 15 lbs anyway... they are not totally necessary.... the baby can nap, sleep, and play in his crib and be safe

  2. I have never seen anything like this, but it wouldn't suprise me if they were out there. You'd just have to do some digging. I know that they make cribs that are built with changing tables at the end of them and take up very little extra room. Not sure if that is still too much for you though. As for a bassinet, you don't need one you could do something like a co-sleeper instead. They come in 2 forms. One that kinda becomes and extension of your bed and others that can go in your bed between you and your significant other. You could place one of those in the crib and it would confine the baby enough to make it as cozy as a bassinet. If you can't find a changing table just a changing pad on the bed (or in one of those co-sleepers works just fine. I did that with my first. I use the in bed co-sleeper as a travel bed for my younger son too.

  3. Some brands have a crib and a changing table attached to them.  They are bigger then cribs, and cost a little more.  Kind of like this one, it has drawers and everything.

Just look online at Target, Walmart and Babies R Us to get ideas on prices.
